Q: Why would I need a costumed entertainer at my event?

A: There are so many reasons you may book one of our characters. Consider the shock and amazement of your guests arriving to a Star Wars themed party and having their invitations/identification checked by KW-5711. Maybe you have a superhero-themed event and need another character to fill out the set - Captain Rogers is a great fit. What about a Jedi to join your crew in a fan-film or just pose for pictures. Looking for a way to add a little more flare to a general costume theme, think about hiring our Wizard to help.

Q: What made you start this business?

A: This all started with the simple enjoyment of joining in the usual fun costume-based events - Halloween, Renaissance Faire/Festivals, parties, etc. - but wanting something that looked authentic. Having successfully created a costume that looked screen-accurate and/or period-authentic then finding joy in the creativity and skill required combined with the enjoyment that others gained, it felt natural to keep going. After building a few of the characters, seeing the success of those, and wanting to fund further expansion, the founding of Sdyvn’s Costumed Entertainment happened.

Q: How many characters can I book at one time?

A: Sdyvn’s Costumed Entertainment is currently only a staff of one but our entertainer will be happy to work alongside one from another company. We are working to with other organizations and groups so we can augment our characters for custom requests.

Q: What other characters are available?

A: The only available characters are those with pages on this site. However, as we continue to grow, more will be added. If you have a suggestion, please use the contact us page so we can focus on high-demand characters as we expand our offerings.

Q: Why are your prices so high?

A: We are comparably priced to other providers of this kind of service yet our characters are much higher quality. Our booking rates are simple, clear, and available in advance because we understand it is an important consideration to our customers. We encourage you to shop around…but take notice of the quality because your guests sure will. Also, consider that the entertainer from Sdyvn’s Costumed Entertainment is encompassed in high-quality gear which is heavy and warm. They are working hard while our customers get to relax and enjoy the moment.

Q: What activities or entertainment do the characters perform?

A: Our entertainer is versatile in performance options based on venue and customer requests. Sdyvn’s Costumed Entertainment works with each customer directly to tailor the entertainment to suit the event where possible.

Q: Why do you offer short booking durations?

A: The shorter duration helps keep cost down but still provides enough time for photo-ops and short interactions.

A: Use the form on the specific page for the character to book a custom duration. Be sure to include additional information to help start the conversation.

Q: How/When do I pay for the services?

A: We will send an invoice after confirming the booking where you will be able to remit payment through various means. Payments will be in advance of the event date and will hold the booking spot for you.
